Emily Jordan Osment (born March 10, 1992 in Los Angeles, California) is an Americanactress, singer and spokesmodel. She is best known for her roles as Gerti Giggles in the Spy Kids trilogy and Lilly Truscott in the Disney Channel Emmy Award-nominated^[1] TV series, Hannah Montana, the series premiere scored record ratings for Disney ChannelRL Stine’s: The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don’t Think About It as Cassie.

Early Life

Osment was born in Los Angeles, California ^[2], where her family still resides, to actor Eugene Osment and Theresa Osment (née Seifert), a teacher.^[3][4] Osment has never been a stranger to the world of entertainment and acting. Her father, Eugene Osment, is an actor of various films, and her older brother is Academy Award-nominated actor Haley Joel Osment. Osment was raised Catholic.^[5]She was a student at Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada, California. She stated on The View that she is currently taking online courses.

Personal Life

Osment is close friends with fellow Hannah Montana co-stars Miley Cyrus and Mitchel Musso, often texting and conference calling each other during busy days. ^[7] Miley Cyrus taught Emily Osment how to play the guitar and Osment taught Cyrus how to knit. She is also friends with the stars of the highly successful TV movie High School Musical, including Vanessa Hudgens and the stars of the Disney Channel Original series The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody including Brenda Song and Ashley Tisdale.

Emily Osment believes that the best aspect of the Disney Channel Games is being together with all the Disney Channel stars and meeting the really cool international kids.  On the Disney Channel Games interview, she stated that she isn’t in a band, but has played for Hannah Montana. Emily Osment’s wish is to swim with the dolphins.  When she was 7 her brother Haley, won a Saturn Award for Best Performance By A Younger Actor for his performance in The Sixth Sense. Unfortunately he was in Poland filming Edges of the Lord, so Emily went to the ceremony to receive her brother’s award for him.  Emily Osment appeared on the Really Short Report along with Jason Earles.  On the Disney Channel Games interview, she stated that she has 2 dogs, lizards, a turtle and a fish.  On the Disney Channel Games interview, she stated she can cook, and she loves making breakfast for her family.
